This is a lovely oval modernist mid-century sterling silver, Japanese saltwater akoya cultured pearl & mother of pearl tie bar.

The pearl is 5.75mm round. It has great luster with bright rosy overtones. It is set onto a white mother of pearl oval tablet.

The setting is made of solid silver and features a high polished design. Stamped "SILVER" which is an older mark for sterling silver. It is from mid-Century Japan. Total length is 2 1/8 inch. 

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
