This is a lovely vintage mid-century modern Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl brooch.

The pearls measure between 6.00-6.50mm. They have sharp luster with bright rosy pink overtones. They are a white color. There are also three bright red synthetic rubies set at the end of square silver metal.

It is made of solid sterling silver with small accent balls. It measures 1 7/8 inches wide. Stamped "STERLING".  From Japan 1950's-1960's.  

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
