This is a lovely pair of vintage Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl screwback cadge earrings.
The pearls are in a free moving cadge and on the top of the earrings, they measure from 5.50-6.50mm. They have great luster with rosy overtones and white color.
They are stamped "S" in a square for sterling silver. The earrings measure 1 1/4 inch long. From Japan 1950's-1960's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
