This is a lovely mid-century strand of graduated Japanese saltwater akoya cultured pearls.

The pearls range from 3.00-6.75mm and have great luster and very bright pink rosy overtones. Light amount of natural blemishes. 

Clasp is in solid sterling silver with an engraved and milgrain design. It is stamped "SILVER" which is an older mark for sterling. Total length is 20.75 inch. From Japan 1930's-1960's.

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned and restrung.
