This is a lovely designer C Itoh & Co sterling silver & Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl tie bar.

The pearl is 7.75mm round. It has fantastic luster with bright rosy overtones.

The setting is made of solid silver and features a textured surface. Stamped "C ITOH" not marked for metal, but solid sterling silver. It is from mid-Century Japan. Total length is 2 1/8 inch. 

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
