This is a retro solid sterling silver & Japanese saltwater akoya cultured pearl tie bar from the Japanese National Palace Museum.

The pearl is 7.25mm round. It has great luster with bright pink overtones. 

The setting is a mid century brushed design. It is stamped "SILVER" for sterling silver. Total length is 2 inches. From Japan 1950's-1980's. Comes in the original red and black box which is signed "NATIONAL PALACE MUSEUM".

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
