This is a handmade mid-century Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl leaf brooch with a spray design.

The pearls are 5.25-5.75mm round. They have great luster with rosy pink overtones. 

It is made of solid white gold. The leaves have a diamond brushed texture and hand engraving. It is hand constructed and not cast. It is stamped "14K". It measures 1 1/2 inches long. From Japan 1940's-1960's. 

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
