This is a vintage pair of silver/blue Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl screwback leaf earrings.

The pearls measure 4.50-5.50mm. They have great luster with rosy overtones. They are mostly round although a few are semi-baroque.

They are set in solid sterling silver. The leaves are hand engraved with nice detail. They are not stamped but tested for solid sterling silver. They measure 3/4 inch across. From the 1930's-1960's Japan.

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
