This is an old and unique baroque blue Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl necklace.

The pearls are large and measure from 8.00-9.00mm and are baroque with good luster and nice rosy overtones. They are a medium blue/silver color and slightly graduated. They are a baroque shape with tails, wrinkles and rings. Moderate amount of blemishes. Color variation between pearls. 

Clasp is hand engraved and features a small blue pearl set on top. It is hand engraved with milgrain edging. Good quality. It is not stamped but solid sterling silver. Total length is 17 inches. From 1920's-1950's Japan.

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned and restrung.
