This is a choker length strand of vintage art deco Japanese saltwater akoya cultured pearls. 

The pearls measure 7.00-7.50mm and round, very slightly graduated. They have good luster with rosy pink overtones. Medium amount of natural blemishes. 

Clasp is in solid sterling and features fine filigree. It is stamped "STERLING". Total length is 15.75 inches. From Japan 1940's-1970's.

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned and restrung.
