This is a stunning modernist style Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl concentric rings necklace. 

If features a single, highly lustrous, pearl measuring 6.50mm. It is a white color with bright rosy overtones. It is surrounded by circles of sterling silver with delicate milgrain edging.

It is in solid sterling silver and is stamped "SILVER" on both the pendant and clasp. This is an older mark for sterling. Total drop is 1 1/4 inch. Chain is 16.50 inches and has a lovely detailed fishhook clasp. From Japan 1950's-1960's.

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
