This is a lovely two tone Victorian Golden Japanese akoya saltwater cultured and paste stone brooch.

The pearl measures 6.00mm and is highly lustrous with a medium dark bright golden color. It is set into a swirling ribbon design dotted with white paste stones (vintage glass). No stones are missing. The edging is very fine and has milgrain detailing. 

It is made of solid sterling silver with a thick, bright gold wash on just the back. It is stamped "925". From the early 1900's.

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
