This is a vintage nouveau style sakura or cherry blossom Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl brooch.

The pearls are 3.75-5.75mm round. They have fantastic luster with bright rosy pink overtones. 

It is made of solid sterling silver with engraved leaves and swirls and milgrain edges. It is stamped "STERLING". It measures 2 3/8 inches long. From Japan 1930's-1950's. 

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
