This is a lovely pair of modernist mid-century Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl screwback earrings.

The pearls are lustrous and measure 5.25-6.00mm round. They have great luster with bright rosy pink overtones. Round to slightly oval shape.  

They are set in solid sterling silver and accented with a high polished burst design. Stamped "SILVER" which is an older mark for sterling. Total length is just over 7/8 inch.

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
