This is a stunning mid-century modern Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl pendant.

The pearls are 5.50-6.00mm round. They have mirror like luster with extremely bright rosy overtones.

It is made of solid sterling silver and is very large. It was converted from a pin. It is quite large and measures 2.00 inches including the bail. It is stamped "S" in a square for sterling silver.

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
