This is a unique leafy bud styled Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl brooch.

The pearls measure 4.00-5.75mm. They have great luster with rosy pink overtones. They are a white color. 

It is made of solid sterling silver and has engraved details with milgrain on the edges. It measures 2 1/2 inches long. Stamped "STERLING". From Japan 1940's-1960's.  

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
