This is a retro mid-century Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl & white mother of pearl tie bar.

It has a single 5.50mm lustrous pearl with rosy overtones set on top of a white disk of mother of pearl.

The setting is made of solid silver. Stamped "STERLING" for solid sterling silver. It has a braided design with hand engravings on the sides. From Japan, 1950's-1960's.

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
