This is a lovely vintage Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl delicate swirl brooch.

The pearls measure 5.00-6.00mm round. They have high luster with very bright rosy pink overtones. They are a white/cream color.

It is made of solid sterling silver and features hand engraving and texturing. It is stamped "STERLING" for solid sterling silver. It measures 1 5/8 inches long. From Japan 1940's-1960's. 

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
