This is a lovely petite vintage Mikimoto Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl leaf pendant.

The pearls measure 4.50mm and have fantastic luster with bright rosy overtones.

They are set in solid sterling silver engraved leaf design. Very nice quality detailing. Stamped "M" in a clamshell for Mikimoto and "S" in a square which is an older mark for sterling. Total pendant length is 1 inch. From Japan 1940's-1980's. This pendant was converted from a single screwback earring that has lost its mate.

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
