This is a stunning art deco graduated strand of Japanese saltwater akoya cultured pearls.

The pearls are lustrous and large ranging from 7.50-8.00mm. They are very lightly graduated with the smaller pearls near the clasp. They are a white color with bright rosy pink overtones. Fantastic quality for their large size. 

Clasp is in solid sterling silver with an industrial/art deco design with hand engraving and milgrain. It is stamped "S" in a square which is an older mark for sterling. Total length is 24 inch. From Japan 1920's-1940's.

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned and restrung.
