    This is an exceptional quality highly detailed Japanese akoya saltwater blue cultured pearl cluster brooch.

    The pearls are 5.50-7.00mm round. They have fantastic luster with pink overtones and are a bright blue/gray color.

    It is made of solid sterling silver and is very large. Highly detailed with brushed and stippled texture. It can be worn as a brooch, pendant or obijime (kimono belt accessory). It is stamped "SILVER" an older mark for sterling. It measures 2 1/4 inches long. Comes with the original red velvet and silk box. Stamped "JEWELRY" "MAYUYAMA CO" "IMPERIAL HOTEL TOKYO JAPAN". From Japan 1940's-1960's.

    All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
